Our cleaners travel by public transport, so we take work within about 50 minutes of one of them, and a postcode two streets away can fall the other side of that line. We cover a large part of north, east, south and west London today and are adding boroughs as we take on more cleaners. How much does cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

Cleaning starts at £22 an hour. Deep cleans and end-of-tenancy jobs take longer than a regular clean, so we give you a fixed price up front rather than leaving it running on the clock. Quotes are free, take about two minutes online, and there is no obligation and no hidden fees.

Do I need to provide cleaning products or equipment?

We bring all the cleaning products. For regular and deep cleans we ask that you provide a hoover, mop and bucket, since almost every home already has them and it keeps your price down. End-of-tenancy cleans are the exception — for those we bring everything, equipment included.

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We hold £2 million public liability insurance with Hiscox in the name of Bethel Property Care Ltd, and we are a UK registered company, number 17309692. Ask us at any time and we will send you the certificate.

Question 5

Are your cleaners vetted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every cleaner has their right to work in the UK verified, provides references and proof of address, and completes a paid trial clean with us before they are ever sent to a customer. DBS checking is part of our onboarding. We would rather turn work away than send someone we have not checked.

Question 6

Do you do end of tenancy cleaning, and will it pass the inventory check?

Yes, it is one of our main services. We work to a written room-by-room checklist covering the oven, appliances, inside cupboards and drawers, windows, skirting and behind white goods. If your agent or landlord flags something we missed, tell us and we will come back and put it right.

Do you offer regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Yes — weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You will usually keep the same cleaner, so they learn how you like things done rather than starting from scratch every visit. There is no contract — you can change, pause or stop whenever you need, free of charge, as long as you let us know at least 24 hours before the next clean. Inside 24 hours the £40 late-cancellation fee applies, the same as any other booking.

Do you clean ovens, carpets and upholstery?

Yes. Oven cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery and mattress cleaning, and interior and exterior window cleaning can each be added to any clean or booked on their own.

Can you clean an Airbnb or short let between guests?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We do short-let turnovers including linen changes and restocking, worked around your check-out and check-in times. We run our own serviced accommodation as well, so we clean short lets to the standard we want for our own guests.
